Private Hire Dog Walking Field

Effective Date: 31 March 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making a booking with K9 Inspired Dog Walking Field. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your party.

1. Bookings & Cancellation Policy

1.1 Making a Booking

  • All sessions must be booked in advance. Walk-in access is not permitted.

  • Bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once full payment has been received.

  • By placing a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

  • Each booking is for the exclusive use of the field by the named party only.

1.2 Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booked session start time will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booked session start time are non-refundable.

  • No-shows will be charged in full and are non-refundable.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking in exceptional circumstances (e.g. extreme weather, field maintenance, or safety concerns). In such cases, a full refund or alternative booking will be offered.

  • Refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 5–10 working days.

1.3 Late Arrivals

  • Sessions begin and end at the booked time. Late arrivals will not be entitled to an extension of their session time.

  • If you anticipate being late, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, but cannot guarantee this.

2. Liability & Insurance

2.1 Use of the Field

  • Customers use the field entirely at their own risk.

  • K9 Inspired Dog Walking Field accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage to persons, animals, or property during your session, however caused.

  • You are solely responsible for the behaviour and actions of your dog(s) and any guests accompanying you during your booked session.

2.2 Third-Party Liability

  • You are strongly advised to hold valid third-party liability insurance for your dog(s) before using the field. Many pet insurance policies include this cover — please check with your insurer.

  • K9 Inspired Dog Walking Field will not be held responsible for any injury caused by your dog to another person or animal.

  • In the event your dog causes damage to the field, fencing, gates, or any equipment, you will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement.

2.3 Personal Accident

  • We strongly recommend that all users hold appropriate personal accident insurance.

  • K9 Inspired Dog Walking Field is not liable for any accidents or injuries that occur on the premises, including those resulting from slips, falls, or interactions with dogs.

3. Dog Behaviour & Field Rules

3.1 General Conduct

  • The field is for private hire only. You must not allow access to any person or dog not included in your booking.

  • A maximum number of dogs per session may apply — please confirm this at the time of booking.

  • Dogs must be kept under effective control at all times. If your dog cannot be safely managed off-lead, please keep them on a lead during your session.

  • You must not leave the field unattended whilst dogs are present.

3.2 Aggressive or Reactive Dogs

  • Dogs with a known history of aggression towards people or other animals may use the field, as it is a private hire facility. However, you remain fully responsible for the safety and management of your dog at all times.

  • If your dog is known to be reactive or aggressive, we recommend advising us at the time of booking so we can ensure there are no scheduling conflicts.

  • K9 Inspired reserves the right to refuse future bookings if a dog has caused injury or demonstrated dangerous behaviour during a previous session.

3.3 Field Care

  • Please pick up and dispose of all dog waste using the bins provided on site. Failure to do so may result in additional charges or refusal of future bookings.

  • Digging is not permitted in designated areas. Please discourage your dog from excessive digging.

  • No glass, alcohol, or smoking is permitted within the field.

  • Any damage to the field, fencing, gates, or equipment must be reported immediately and may result in a charge for repair.

  • Please ensure the gate is fully secured upon entering and exiting the field.

4. Health & Vaccination Requirements

4.1 Vaccinations

  • All dogs using the field must be up to date with their core vaccinations, including: Distemper, Parvovirus, and Leptospirosis.

  • Proof of vaccination may be requested at any time. By making a booking, you confirm that your dog(s) meet these requirements.

4.2 Parasites

  • All dogs must be regularly treated for fleas, ticks, and worms. Untreated dogs pose a risk to other dogs and to the field environment.

4.3 Health Conditions

  • Dogs showing signs of illness, infectious disease, or open wounds must not use the field.

  • Female dogs in season (oestrus) are permitted, as the field is exclusively hired. However, please inform us at the time of booking so we can take any necessary scheduling precautions.

  • K9 Inspired Dog Walking Field reserves the right to refuse access to any dog we believe poses a health risk to other animals or the environment.

5. XL Bully & Prohibited Dog Regulations (UK Law)

⚠  Important Notice — XL Bully Regulations

The American XL Bully has been added to the list of prohibited dogs under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (as amended). It is a legal requirement that all XL Bullies are registered on the Index of Exempted Dogs (IED) and comply with the conditions set out below. Failure to comply is a criminal offence.

5.1 Requirements for XL Bully Dogs

If you wish to bring an American XL Bully to K9 Inspired Dog Walking Field, the following conditions must be met and evidence must be provided before your first session:

  • The dog must be registered on the Index of Exempted Dogs (IED).

  • The dog must be neutered.

  • The dog must be microchipped.

  • The dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled in public areas. Within the privately hired field, the dog may be unmuzzled and off-lead at the owner's discretion, provided the booking is exclusive and no other dogs or persons are present who have not consented.

  • The owner must hold valid third-party liability insurance for the dog, specifically covering XL Bully breeds.

  • The dog must wear a tag identifying it as being on the IED at all times.

  • The owner must be 16 years of age or over.

5.2 Evidence & Compliance

  • You must provide a copy of your IED certificate and proof of insurance before booking is confirmed for an XL Bully.

  • K9 Inspired Dog Walking Field reserves the right to refuse entry to any XL Bully that does not meet the full legal requirements.

  • Any misrepresentation of a dog's breed or compliance status may result in immediate termination of the session with no refund, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

5.3 Other Prohibited Breeds

The following breeds are prohibited under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and cannot be brought to K9 Inspired Dog Walking Field under any circumstances:

  • Pit Bull Terrier

  • Japanese Tosa

  • Dogo Argentino

  • Fila Brasileiro

Any dog that appears to be of one of the above types will be refused entry, regardless of documentation.

6. Children & Supervision

  • Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times whilst on the premises.

  • K9 Inspired Dog Walking Field accepts no liability for any injury to a child resulting from interaction with a dog.

  • It is the responsibility of the supervising adult to ensure children behave safely around all dogs.

7. Privacy & Data

  • Personal data collected at the time of booking (name, contact details, dog information) is held securely and used solely for the purposes of managing your booking.

  • We will not share your data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

  • By booking, you consent to the use of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Amendments to Terms

  • K9 Inspired Dog Walking Field reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website and will apply to all future bookings.

  • It is your responsibility to review these terms before each booking.

9. Agreement

By making a booking with K9 Inspired Dog Walking Field, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions;

  • You accept these terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your party;

  • Your dog(s) meet all health, vaccination, and legal requirements stated above;

  • You take full responsibility for the behaviour and welfare of your dog(s) during your session.
